The Mouse and the Lion: A Radio Play
June 6, 2020
The Mouse has stumbled upon some bad luck and some big trouble so he decides to pack up and relocate, because his mama didn’t raise no fool. While searching for the perfect spot to lay low, The Mouse happens upon The Lion. The Lion is very unfriendly and very unhappy, due to some recent bad luck of his own. They both need help and have no idea how helpful asking for help can be. They learn about humility, honesty and friendship. Adapted from Aesop’s Fable, Androcles and the Lion, this story is filled with great music and laughs, and is sure to remind you about a variety of life lessons which can sometimes be too easily forgotten.
The Mouse and the Lion was to be produced in April 2020 at The Players' Ring, but due to Covid-19 we were unable to bring this story to The Ring's stage. Luckily, you can tell a story in a million different ways. We hope you enjoy this one.
