Penguì

October 19 - 20, 2019

Pippin Square.jpg

Penguì is an original story by local five year old, Georgia Pendleton, about a French penguin named Penguì. Ever since Penguì was able to walk, she wished that someday she would be able to fly. Unfortunately she’s a penguin and doesn’t have the necessary equipment to do so. One day Penguì does a good deed for a fellow bird, a flying bird. The flying bird plucks from its wing the biggest, strongest feather he has and gives it to Penguì to thank her for her kindness. This gives Penguì an idea… She decides that if she is ever going to be able to fly she will need many of these big, strong feathers. Penguì goes on a heartfilled adventure to do as many good deeds for as many birds as she possibly can. With each kindness she shows she earns a feather, each one bringing her closer to a beautiful set of wings and dreams coming true.

Penguì runs October 19th-20th at The Players' Ring (105 Marcy St, Portsmouth, NH 03801). Showtimes are Saturday and Sunday at 10am. Tickets can be purchased through The Players' Ring below.
